The City of Johns Creek, thorugh the Development Authority of Fulton County, is pleased to consider any project for possible incentives. However, each project is looked at individually and must meet the qualifying criteria set forth by the Development Authortiy of Fulton County. Johns Creek economic development professionals (JCA) work diligently with local, state and federal professionals to develop a competitive incentive package that makes doing business in our community the right choice.
The State of Georgia, through the Georgia Department of Economic Development, offers tax credits to qualifying businesses choosing to locate or expand in the State of Georgia. These tax credits give Georgia businesses, large or small, the opportunity to minimize or even eliminate state corporate income tax.
Typically, corporate income tax credits apply to 50 percent of a company’s state tax liability in a given year. But in some cases, they can offset up to 100 percent of corporate income tax as well as payroll withholding liability.
